Jonathan is an elementalist who is doing research in his house in Gandria. He specializes in fire magic and teaches Cendric how to summon a Fireball.
He was sent by the mages of the Academy to do research on the forgotten magic of the old elementalists.
Although he is a rather skilled mage, he is afraid to leave his house, as some mages are being abducted. Eventually, his house gets raided by Cynthia and Bjarne, who steal his research papers and the Wrinkled Map.
